Employment advisory and regulatory compliance for your LATAM operation

We manage contracts, audits, terminations and labor compliance in every country where you operate, so no formality gap turns into a lawsuit or a fine.

The real problem

Labor risk almost never shows up until it's already a claim

A poorly drafted contract, severance calculated on the wrong basis, an outdated internal work rules policy: none of these mistakes look serious until an employee uses them against you. And in an operation spanning several countries, each jurisdiction has its own logic, its own deadlines and its own way of inspecting.

Most labor contingencies don't come from bad faith, they come from operational blind spots: nobody inside the company has time to stay current on the labor law of every country where they hire people.

MP Global manages labor compliance end to end, from the initial contract to a conflictive termination, catching the detail that another advisory firm would miss.

How we work

A process with defined stages and timelines

We work in clear phases so that at any moment you know your actual labor exposure and what's being done about it.

  1. Assessment

We review contracts, internal work rules and current practices to identify where the real risk is, not the theoretical one.

  2. Solution design

We propose concrete adjustments (contracts, policies, termination processes) prioritized by exposure level.

  3. Implementation

We draft, update and formalize the labor documentation needed in each country.

  4. Monitoring

We track regulatory changes that could affect your operation and flag them before they become a problem.

  5. Closing

We deliver a compliance report and remain available to represent you if a case escalates to mediation or litigation.

FAQ

Common questions about labor compliance

Can you help with a termination that already looks conflictive?
Yes. We review the grounds, calculate the correct severance and prepare the termination letter before notifying the employee, reducing the risk it ends up in court. If it escalates anyway, we represent you.
Is an internal work rules policy really mandatory?
In most countries in the region it becomes mandatory past a certain number of employees, and its absence, or being outdated, is one of the first things an inspection checks. We draft and update it as part of the service.
What does soft landing include for a company that just entered a country?
We get the full labor foundation ready before you hire your first person: contract templates, internal work rules, registration with the relevant authorities and a country-by-country compliance roadmap.
How do you handle an internal harassment complaint?
With a formal protocol: we activate the investigation procedure required by law, safeguard the parties involved and document the resolution, minimizing the company's legal exposure.
Do you work directly with the Labor Directorate or equivalent agencies?
Yes, we represent you before inspections, mediations and requirements from these agencies in every country where you operate. If the case also involves the company's incorporation or structure, we coordinate with our corporate services.
